Baseball Managers

Chris Livingston is a former player at Stony Brook University.

Chris has been with the Chiefs organization since 2017 and became a Manager in our organization in 2022. Chris did an amazing job with his team and his team finished at the top or near the top of every league or tournaments entered in 2022.

Mike Neary
2023 sees a return of Mike Neary to the coaching staff with the Chiefs as he is back managing. After a year off Mike will lead our 14 year old East team. Mike has been with the Chiefs organization as a manager since 2017.

Kevin Primm
Kevin is a former Chiefs player and is currently playing for Farmingdale State College.

This is Kevin’s 3rd year with the Chiefs and 2nd as a Manager. Kevin’s Chiefs West team was extremely successful in 2022 winning multiple Championships.

Anthony Didomenico returns as a manager in 2023. Anthony managed in 2020 and 2021. He returns to take a revamped 12 year old East team. 

Nick Cremonese – who played college baseball at Pace University, returns to manage one of the most successful teams in the organization. Nick has been with the Chiefs for 5 years and his team has consistently won. His team has won in excess of 15 Championships in the last 3 seasons.

Mike Stegmeier returns for his second year of managing in the Chiefs organization. Mike has been with the Chiefs organization since 2020. He is a dedicated hard working coach. His team has also worked hard and improves each an every time they step on the field. Together Mike’s team has won 6 Championhsips.

Mike Dell’anno joins the Chiefs for his first year. Coming to us from another organization, Mike has proven to already be the kind of Manager who cares deeply for his players in his team. Eager to have his team improve, Mike will surely spend many hours on the field this year to make his team the best they can be. Welcome to the Chiefs Coach Dell’anno

Joe Mulligan is a veteran of our coaching staff as this will be his 6th season with the South Shore Chiefs organization. Joe’s dedicated coaching staff of Bill Hoffmann, Mike Salgine, Mike Pistillo and Anthony Randazzo bring experience and dedication to teaching fundamentals has proven extremely valuable as the team has consistently been at the top of their divisions and have won many Championships. As a Chiefs manager and Coach, Joe, a home grown member of our Chiefs family, has won a significant number of Championships throughout the years.

Joe will be coaching our top 10 year old team this year and looks to add to their 6 Championships over the past 2 seasons.

Chris Brooks has been with the South Shore Chiefs organization since 2020 and has managed since 2021. His 9 year old east team has been one of the top teams in their respective divisions since beginning as 7 year olds. He and his coaching staff are loved by his players and families of the players he coaches.  Chris team is revamped for the upcoming 2023 and looks to continue their competitiveness as one of the better teams in his division.

James Ruiz managed for the first time in 2022, as he took over our 11West team.  He will be back in 2023 and will look to continue to grow his team. Winning their first Championship as a group, his team continue to look forward and bringing home more victories in 2023.

Mike Russomondo takes the field as a Manager for the Chiefs organization for the second time in as many years. Mike and his coaching staff work their players very hard and the players have responded. Mike’s team finished atop of their division last year and already has multiple Championships under their belt. With a very experienced coaching staff, and hard working players, we are looking forward to this teams growth going forward. 

John Mekatansky has been with the Chiefs organization for 2 years. He and his coaches continue to work hard to have his players improve and work towards getting to the next level. Our 9West team will be looking for players and Mike and his staff will certainly get them into shape for summer play.

James Guardino
The South Shore Chiefs are happy to announce that another home grown player will now become a coach with the South Shore Chiefs. James, along with Jason Simowitz and John Fabian will round out the coaching staff for the 8 year old West team which will begin practicing this Spring in hopes of playing their first season as Chiefs this Summer.
